Safety in the airport industry
The airport is a very busy place with a variety of constantly moving tractors, shuttles, and special vehicles.
Several companies in an airport employ thousands of people, but the media still has tens of thousands of people traveling. While completing the work on time, ensuring everyone’s safety is a complicated belief, which is very important.
Tarmacs and airport runways are the most dangerous places in all airports. They are crowded, noisy, and packed with various fleets. All vehicles drive at different speeds and directions. On airport runways, safety is very important.
Repair, maintain and support aircraft operations to work efficiently in various climates around the world to ensure rapid aircraft turnover and meet tight flight schedules. The possibility of being hit by a vehicle on an airport apron is one of the job hazards faced by apron workers. Many accidents are sent when the plane is turning around, the plane is backing, and the tractor feeder is reversing. During the period again, the operator’s vision is restricted. Many airside staff wear earmuffs and cannot hear the vehicle reversing and warning alarms. They are close to obstacles. Measures cannot be taken at the time, and darkness or insufficient light and bad weather can also lead to vehicle-related accidents.

Airport vehicle security

Civil airports in various climatic environments in the world are very busy every day. Tens of thousands of people need various types of vehicles to ensure the rapid turnover of aircraft and meet the tight flight schedule. For this reason, the vehicles on the airport determine the efficiency of the airport.

brvision’s electronic safety equipment perfectly removes the blind spots of vehicles. Our rear-view systems are used in shuttle buses, passenger elevators, handicapped passenger lifts, luggage transfer vehicles, aircraft tractors, fuel trucks, bird drive vehicles, snow sweepers, and Road vehicles, sweeping vehicles, rubber removal vehicles, forklifts, friction coefficient test vehicles, emergency command vehicles, fire rescue vehicles, emergency vehicles and other vehicles provide fleet safety guarantees for busy airports. brvision’s on-board electronic safety equipment is the highest level in terms of waterproof and shock resistance. They can protect your fleet from the moment the vehicle starts in an environment of -30℃-70℃.

  • Problems in the airport industry
    Common accidents and problems include:
    • The noise of the aircraft engine with earmuffs reduces the worker’s ability to clearly hear the alarm from the buzzer of the approaching vehicle.
    • Workers and people were hit by a terminal car
    • Collision caused by low visibility when the aircraft is turning around or backing up
    • Reversing collision due to poor visibility (darkness, rain, etc.).
    • The moving steps or other ground support equipment collide due to the blind spot of the operator’s vision
    • When multiple vehicles are coordinated, service, maintain and support vehicle accidents

brvision and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport-an ascending safety step forward together
brvision and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport-an ascending safety step forward together
China is located in ZGSZ, Baoan District, Shenzhen, on the east bank of the Pearl River Estuary, with geographic coordinates of 113°49°E, 22°36°N, 32 kilometers away from Shenzhen City. It is a 4F civil transportation airport and one of the top 100 airports in the world. An international hub airport, one of China’s twelve major trunk airports, one of China’s four major air cargo centers and express delivery centers
It can be seen from the official website of the airport in August 2017 that the airport has a total area of 700,000 square meters, a circular plane of 451,000 square meters, and an airport warehouse area of 1.66 million square meters; the new rice field covers an area of 195,000 square meters with a total of 199 aprons (corridors). There are 62 bridge seats); there are 2 in total, of which the second is 3800 meters long and 60 meters wide; there are 188 routes in total, including 154 domestic routes, 4 coastal routes from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and 30 international routes; 139 navigable cities , Including 108 domestic cities and 27 international cities.

ZGSZ has an average of 1013 aircraft per day, ranking among the top 20 airports in the world’s top 100 passenger airports in terms of passenger traffic. Passenger staff and traffic volume have maintained an astonishing growth. Increased by more than 10% throughout the year, and continued to attend 5 times of various types of electric vehicles, which brought great achievements to the consumption guarantee on-time schedule.

ZGSZ has a large fleet of electric vehicles used to transport passengers, luggage and trolleys around the airport. The nature of vehicles means that they move around the pedestrian zone and may collide with objects or people. To prevent this threat, electric vehicles were previously equipped with tone reversing alarms. In the noisy airport environment, accompanied by various announcements, sounds and general noise, the beeping of reversing cars gradually disappeared into the background noise. It is also difficult to determine which car is driving in which direction.

ZGSZ also received complaints from staff who were unable to hear the customer’s voice amid the constant loud siren, and the driver was frustrated by the annoying beeping sound.

After ZGSZ tried out brvision’s broadband audible reversing alarm, ZGSZ decided to apply the technology to all electric vehicles in the ZGSZ airport terminal.

  • Camera monitoring system
Camera monitoring systems can help eliminate blind spots in vehicles to prevent collisions. The camera can be used to cover the rear, side and front blind spots as well as the internal vision and monitor specific functions of the vehicle. Multiple camera images can be viewed on a single in-cab monitor.
  • Radar obstacle detection
By providing graded audible and visual warnings in the cab, the driver is notified of the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle, whether it is moving or stationary. BacksenseR radar can work effectively in harsh conditions and low visibility. The custom detection range of the programmable system can be up to 2.5m in length and 1.5m in width. 2.3 or 4 sensor systems can inform the driver of the distance between the vehicle and any obstacle, whether it is moving or stationary. Improve safety during low-speed maneuvers, reversing, or near side and front blind spots where pedestrians and cyclists may go undetected.
  • Mobile hard disk video recorder
By simultaneously recording the shots of up to eight on-board cameras, the digital recorder can provide irrefutable evidence in the event of an accident. The lockable hard drive can store up to 1,164 hours of data, (optional memory size up to 2TB). These data can be easily accessed via a PC or uploaded via a 4G network or dedicated WiFi.
